Right Track Reading LLC is a home-based company founded by Miscese Gagen, a mother and successful reading tutor with a strong passion for teaching ALL children to read proficiently by using effective methods.  Right Track Reading’s specialty is translating the science of proficient reading and the evidence-based research findings into concrete actions parents and teachers can use to directly build proficient reading skills. Right Track Reading LLC strives to empower parents and teachers with this valuable knowledge, information and effective tools so they can directly help their child or student achieve reading success.  

Although Right Track Reading LLC was officially founded as a company in 2004, it did not start as a business. It originated years earlier when Miscese’s young son requested “Mommy show me how to read”. For a mom who was enthusiastic about her children’s reading and had a background in science, this request launched the journey that eventually evolved and expanded into the creation of the highly effective Right Track Reading Lessons and Back on the Right Track Reading Lessons multisensory direct systematic phonics programs and a 20+ year career as a reading tutor successfully helping children build proficient reading skills.   

Right Track Reading believes EVERYONE needs to be able to access effective & useable reading instruction!  Therefore, all materials are intentionally designed to be highly effective, easy-to-use and affordable.  This triple combination is rare in the world of reading instruction. (Many programs are not effective, some are too expensive, and others are overly complex and cluttered with unnecessary program elements.)

Right Track Reading’s mission is to improve reading proficiency in this country…one child, one student at a time! We CAN help students learn to read proficiently! To achieve this goal, Right Track Reading LLC :
